USCGC Taney

The United states Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Taney is the last surviving warship present at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  Berthed at Pier #6 in Honolulu Harbor at the time of the attack, she was active in firing on the Japanese aircraft.  The USCGC Taney was used on Patrol and escort duties during world war two in both the Pacific and Atlantic Theaters of Operation.  The USCGC Taney also served in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and was also used in drug trade interdiction until decommissioned on December 7,  1986.  The USCGC  Taney is now a floating museum berthed at the Inner Harbor of Baltimore MD.
